Family-friendly farm in Byron Center, Michigan.

Parkside Farm is located in Byron Center, Michigan and was founded by Nicole Zaagman in 2021. Parkside Farm was named for its peaceful, park-like setting filled with trees, wildlife, and natural beauty. In the spring, maple trees are tapped to make maple syrup. Parkside Farm has a small, registered pygmy goat herd utilized for farm education and the Jump for JOY Program.

Nicole has taken her pygmy goats all over the state of Michigan to visit senior centers, childrens programs, farmers markets and special events. Parkside Farm is focused on impacting families through agritourism. During the summer a small farm market can be visited and crops include cut flowers, pumpkins and squash.

Appointment-based offerings include historical and educational farm tours, promotional events, and agricultural classes. The land Parkside Farm sits on has documented history dating back to just post Civil War which is shared with students and families who visit the farm. Please contact us to book your visit at Parkside Farm!
