My American Farm Privacy Policy

American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture (“AFBFA”), which offers the My American Farm website (“My American Farm,” “we,” us,” “our”), values individual privacy and we want to describe how we collect, use, and share the information of visitors who visit our MyAmericanFarm.org website (“Site”).

By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy, as well as our Terms & Conditions, accept them, and agree to be legally bound by them. You should not use the Site if you have any objections to this Privacy Policy, or any of the Terms & Conditions.

Types of Information Collected

When you are an adult or a child over 13 years of age and you visit our Site, you may voluntarily provide information about yourself, including your name, contact information, school or organization, information about your classroom, and any other information you choose to provide. We collect this information when you sign up for our eNewsletter or contact us through our Site.

In some cases, when you visit our Site we may also collect information related to your interactions with us and our Site, including the type of Internet browser or computer operating system you use, the date and time you visited our Site, the pages you accessed, the name of the Site from which you linked to our Site, and other data involving your use of our Site through the use of cookies and similar technology. Children’s Privacy

This Site is intended for use by parents, teachers, and children. If a parent or guardian would like us to delete their child’s information, he or she should contact us at (202) 406-3600. If AFBFA obtains knowledge that it has personally identifiable information about a child under 13 in retrievable form via this Site, AFBFA will immediately destroy that information, and delete that information from its files.

To opt out of email marketing, you can unsubscribe by using the link provided at the bottom or each marketing message, or please write to myamericanfarm@fb.org and ask us to remove you from the list.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Whenever we change our policy, we will let you know by prominently posting a notice on our home page. Since these policy change notices last only for a limited time, however, we encourage you to check this Privacy Policy periodically to see if there have been any changes.
